Bob Hoyle

Bob is one of the namesakes of the Robert Allen Blues Band. Together with Al, they formed a long lasting bond and a love of the blues. He was born in Macon Georgia, the hallowed grounds of many R&B greats and transplanted to Maryland at an early age. Exposure to bands like Mike Bloomfield's Electric Flag and Pacific Gas & Electric were instrumental to Robert's future as a bassist. "I went to a concert to see Iron Butterfly and was blown away by the opening act, PG&E. I knew that's what I wanted to do!" Veteran of bar, club, college and concert gigs from Lake George, New York to Orlando, Florida, Robert has shared the stage with the likes of members from Otis Redding, Mitch Ryder, Ten Years After, Wings, The Outlaws and more. Whether playing for 1 or 1,000 the passion remains. Robert resides in Uniontown Maryland. Robert plays a combination of Sadowsky and Fender basses with amplification by Ampeg.
